Definition of Hadith Science

It is what includes the sayings of the Prophet (PBUH), his actions, his characteristics, stories and origins of the sayings. The narration of these Ahadith and the study of their origin and the terms of acceptance and meaning are the study of this science in addition to what benefits are extracted from them them.

Definition of Al Hadith:

1.     Language: the opposite of ancient and it is also used as the truth in good, and in the dictionary: Al Hadith: new and good.

2.     Idiomatically: the sayings that were added by the Prophet (PBUH), or actions or decisions, or description of something natural or ethical.

“Good” is considered to be a synonym for Hadith according to the scientists of this art, as there is no difference between Al Hadith and Good.

The chosen definition for good is: What was added by the Prophet (PBUH) through sayings, actions, decisions, or description of something natural or ethics, or was added to a companion or followers of the Prophet (PBUH).

Definition of Sunna:

1.     Language: the usual way, whether it is good or bad.

2.     According to some scientists: what was added to the Prophet (PBUH) and most see that it includes what was added to a companion or followers of the Prophet (PBUH).

The conclusion: that these three phrases: Al Hadith, Good, The Affect, are one meaning and what have been added to the Prophet (PBUH) through sayings, actions, decisions, an ethical or natural characteristic, or was added to a companion or follower of the Prophet.
