Verses from the Holy Qur’an

Allah Almighty said:

Recite what is sent of the Book by inspiration to thee and establish Regular Prayers. For Prayer restrains from shameful and unjust deeds; and remembrance of Allah is the greatest (thing in life) without doubt. And Allah knows the (deeds) that ye do}, (Al-Ankabut 45).

Those who recite the Book of Allah, establish regular Prayer and spend (in Charity) out of what We have provided for them, secretly and openly, hope for a commerce that will never fail: For He will pay them their need, nay, He will give them (even) more out of His Bounty; for He is Oft-Forgiving Most, Ready to appreciate (service). That which We have revealed to thee of the Book is the Truth ― confirming what was (revealed) before it: for Allah is assuredly ― with respect to his servants― well acquainted and fully-Observant. Then We have given the Book for inheritance to such of Our servants as We have chosen: but there are among them some who wrong their own souls; some who follow a middle course; and some who are, by Allah's leave, foremost in good deeds; that is the highest Grace. Gardens of Eternity will they enter: therein will they be adorned with bracelets of gold and pearls; and their garments there will be of silk. And they will say: "Praise be to Allah Who has removed from us (all) sorrow: for Our Lord is indeed Oft-Forgiving, Ready to appreciate (service): "Who has out of His Bounty, settled us in a Home that will last: neither toil nor sense of weariness shall touch us therein.}, (Fatir 29-35).

When the Qur'an is read, listen to it with attention, and hold your peace: that ye may receive Mercy, (Al-A'raf 204).

Allah has revealed (from time to time) the most beautiful Message in the form of a Book, consistent with itself, (Yet) repeating (its teaching in various aspects): the skins of those who fear their Lord tremble thereat; then their skins and their hearts do soften to the celebration of Allah's praises. Such is the guidance of Allah: He guides therewith whom He pleases, but such as Allah leaves to stray, can have none to guide, (Al-Zumar 23).

Those to whom We have sent the Book! Study it as it should be studied; they are the ones that believe therein; but for those who reject faith therein the loss is their own, (Al-Baqara 121).

And thus have We, by Our command, sent inspiration to thee: thou knewest not (before) what was Revelation and what was Faith; but We have made the (Qur'an) a Light, wherewith We guide such of Our servants as We will; and verily thou dost guide (men) to the Straight Way}, (Al-Shura 52).

Had We sent down this Qur'an on a mountain, verily, thou would have seen it humble itself and cleave asunder for fear of Allah, such are the similitudes which We propound to men, that they may reflect, (Al-Hashr 21).

We send down (stage by stage) in the Qur'an that which is a healing and a mercy to those who believe: to the unjust it causes nothing but loss after loss, (Al-Isra’a 82).

And We have bestowed upon thee the Seven Oft-Repeated (verses) and the Grand Qur'an, (Al-Hijr 87).

We have, without doubt sent down the Message and We will assuredly guard it (from corruption}, (Al-Hijr 9).

It is for Us to collect it and to promulgate it, (Al-Qiyamah 17).
