Emadi signs a protocol with the Saudi Ministry of Hajj on arrangements for the upcoming Pilgrimage season


The Undersecretary of Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs and the Head of Kuwaiti Hajj mission Farid Assad Emadi has signed a protocol with Saudi Ministry of Hajj on arrangements for Kuwaiti pilgrims for the 1440 season.
  During the meeting, the services provided by the Kuwaiti Hajj Mission last year has been reviewed, which was well received by all, and was characterized by adherence to the controls approved by the Saudi government.
  In this regard, Emadi stated that the signing of this protocol for the 1440 pilgrimage season is done early so that the ministry can prepare for it in sufficient time, and to allow the Kuwaiti campaigns to provide all necessary services. For this, a committee has been formed to organize the next pilgrimage season and to draw up a contingency plan, in order to respond to any emergency situation. Emadi also expressed his appreciation for the services, mega-projects and huge financial potentials provided by Saudi government which aimed at increasing the absorptive capacity of Mecca, Madinah and the holy places, including highways, airports and border entry points.
   For his part, the Deputy Minister of Hajj Dr. Abdul Fattah bin Sulaiman Mashat praised the distinguished relations between Kuwait and Saudi Arabia in various fields. Stressing that the remarkable success of 1439 pilgrimage season has been achieved thanks to Allah Almighty at first place, then thanks to the concerted efforts of all participated governmental and private bodies. Dr. Mashat also praised cooperation, care and services provided by Kuwaiti Hajj mission last year, whether in terms of accommodation, transport, subsistence, or conveying the Kuwaiti pilgrims to perform all rites in the holy places.
